So, Poirot had to investigate a case in the past that might not even have happened, and was just a teenage braggart. As many Woodleigh Commons say, Joyce was a kid who wanted attention, and wanted to look cool in the eyes of Ariadne Oliver, the mystery writer. with the help of his friend, from retired Superintendent Spence, Poirot begins to investigate cases that occurred in the past, in which at this time it was most likely that the perpetrators had not yet been brought to justice or were found innocent when tried.

I think the killing of innocent children is the most cruel, simply because that child has witnessed a murder. As usual, Poirot’s methods are investigation and interview. It’s a bit tiring to follow Poirot interviewing every single person involved at the Halloween Party, even people related to cases from the past. But curiosity makes me keep reading this book, in every story there is always an interesting character. The more difficult the case, the more fun it will be. I really really enjoyed this book. I am very satisfied with the way Poirot ended his case.
